〈SOVEREIGN〉 The original espadrilles are crafted by a dedicated espadrille manufacturer that was established in the 1980s in the border region of Spain and France. With roots in the traditional footwear of the Basque region, these espadrilles are now widely appreciated for both resort and town use. The soles are meticulously hand-shaped from woven jute and combined with a rubber outsole, achieving a balance of lightness and durability. The upper is also finished with hand stitching.
